New and replacement windows and doors across the North East.

We supply and fit replacement windows and doors across the North East, including Newcastle, Gateshead, Jarrow and Hebburn. Whether you are planning uPVC window replacement or new aluminium windows, we check the openings, access, glazing and finish before providing a written quotation.

Replacement uPVC windows and aluminium windows

Compare double-glazed replacement windows with uPVC or aluminium frames, including casement, flush-frame, sash and bay styles. Frame material and opening style are separate choices: we discuss glazing, ventilation, colour, hardware and the finish around each opening so your new windows suit your home.

Replacement double glazing or a complete window replacement?

Misting between the panes or a damaged glass unit does not always mean the entire window needs replacing. We assess the glazing, frame and opening mechanism separately. If the frame is suitable, replacement double glazing may be an option; where the frame or operation needs changing, we can discuss a complete window replacement.

Front and back doors

Our door range includes composite entrance doors and replacement back doors, with glazing, colour and hardware selected for the property.

French, patio and bifold doors

For wider garden openings, we can discuss French doors, patio doors and bifolds, taking account of measurements, access and the practical installation details.

Surveyed and specified

We measure carefully before confirming the specification. The written quotation sets out the chosen products, glazing, colours, hardware and installation work.

Before you decide.

How much do replacement windows and doors cost?

The number and size of openings are only part of the cost. Frame material, opening style, glass, colour, hardware, access, removal and making good also matter. A survey establishes a specification for your property. Compare written quotations for the same scope instead of treating an advertised starting price as the cost of your project.

Do I need exact measurements before asking for a quotation?

You can make an initial enquiry with your postcode, an approximate number of openings and what you want to change. Mention access restrictions and existing faults. Surveyed dimensions and installation details are needed before the final specification is agreed; do not order products from rough measurements.

Do replacement windows and doors need planning permission?

Check the actual property and proposed changes before committing to work. Listed status, conservation-area or Article 4 controls, planning conditions and the type of property can affect permission requirements. Lease or landlord conditions may also apply. Building regulations are a separate consideration, including requirements for replacement glazing; confirm the relevant route with your local authority or building control.

Can different rooms have different window opening styles?

Different styles can be discussed while considering a consistent exterior appearance. Furniture, ventilation, safe cleaning, handle reach and space for an opening sash can vary by room. Product suitability and any safety or planning constraints need checking at survey, so one style should not be assumed to work in every opening.
