Conservatory repairs and warm roofs for North East homes.

We repair and improve conservatories across Tyne & Wear, including windows, doors, glazing and roof problems. We also install replacement conservatories and tiled, solid or insulated warm-roof systems for suitable structures.

Conservatory repairs

We can assess faults affecting conservatory windows, doors, glazing and roofs, then explain whether a focused repair or wider upgrade is the sensible option.

Replacement conservatory roofs

A leaking, noisy or inefficient roof may be suitable for replacement with a tiled, solid or insulated warm-roof system. We assess the existing structure before recommending work.

Replacement conservatories

Where an older room needs wider improvement, we can discuss a replacement conservatory with glazing, doors and roof options suited to the property.

Warm-roof home extensions

We provide a specific single-storey home-extension format using high-performance glazing and an insulated solid roof. Contact us with your plans and postcode so we can confirm suitability.

Before you decide.

What determines the cost of replacing a conservatory roof?

Size, shape, access and the proposed roof specification matter, along with the condition of the existing frames and support. Structural work, glazing changes, ventilation and internal finishing can alter the scope. A survey should establish what is suitable before a written quotation is compared with a roof-only starting price.

Can every conservatory take a tiled or solid roof?

No. The existing structure must be assessed for the proposed work rather than assuming a heavier or different roof can be installed on any frame. Condition, support and the complete specification need checking. The assessment may identify repairs or wider work that belongs in the quotation.

Will a replacement conservatory roof need approval?

Do not assume that permissions or exemptions for the original conservatory cover a changed roof. Planning permission and building regulations are separate checks. Confirm the position for the proposed design and your property with the local planning authority and building control, including structural suitability and any property-specific restrictions.

Should a leaking conservatory always have a new roof?

A leak needs its cause established first. A localised glazing, seal or other component fault may have a repair option, while wider deterioration may call for replacement. Describe where and when water appears and ask for the affected components and surrounding installation to be assessed. Do not attempt roof access or work at height yourself.
